Plea from a prisoner of conscience to all human rights advocates

 Kazemani Broujerdi, an Iranian cleric who advocates the separation of religion and government and has been imprisoned under medieval conditions, wrote a letter describing some of his inhumane treatment and his poor conditions. This letter has been sent to “Human rights activists and Democracy for Iran” and has been published by media through human rights organizations. The text of the letter is as follows

Deteriorating of Mr. Boroujerdi Physical Condition and denial of medical care

 
According to a recent report from Tehran to  the Human Rights and Democracy Activists in Iran the status of Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi, the prisoner of conscience who advocates the separation of religion from state and the establishment of peace and justice, has deteriorated. Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi has been refused all medicine and medical care by the Special Cleric's Court in Tehran that his family requested.
According to this report in recent days the physical and mental health condition of Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi, the prisoner of conscience and opposed to religious supreme leadership, has been worsening because of the unsuitable conditions of the prison and  the intensifying psychological pressures.

Intensifying pressures and threats against the supporters of the imprisoned pro-democratic cleric, Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi, After the funeral ceremony

Countless numbers of supporters of the imprisoned pro-democratic cleric, Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi, attended the funeral ceremony of his late brother, Seyed Hassan Kazemeini Boroujerdi. After the ceremony, eight of Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi’s followers were summoned to the Special Court for Clergy for taking part in the ceremony.
According to the report of Human Rights and Democracy in Iran, although the eight supporters of Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi had been previously summoned for a third time to the Special Cleric's Court in Tehran, they were summoned to the Court for the fourth time via telephone on Monday, January 7, 2013.
