Iran: Kazemeini Boroujerdi’s Critical Condition in Prison

Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi , an opponent Iranian Shiite Cleric who is jailed since 2006 by the Iranian regime, fell to the ground while walking in the Evin prison yard whereupon his legs injured and his glasses are broken.

The accident allegedly occurred as a result of harassment he has undergone in the Islamic Republic chambers since being arrested. His critical condition has frequently led him into a deep coma, Iran’s authorities denied him the rights of access to medical treatment, medicine and own lawyer as well.
He, 57, suffers from heart and lung disorders, and Edema (an abnormal accumulation of fluid in the interstitium, located beneath the skin and in the cavities of the body) that led him to severe pain.
Although the prison’s officials have been repeatedly requested by Mr. Boroujerdi’s relatives for his treatment and medical caring; they refused it.
