Challenging questions of Mr. Boroujerdi from Seyed Hasan Nasrollah, Lebanese Hezbollah Secretary General

Ayatollah Seyyed Hossein Kazemeini Boroujerdi, a most vocal opponent of theocracy in Iran has written to Hassan Nassrallah criticising him for supporting the creation of an Islamic Republic in Lebanon and hosting Mahmoud Ahmadinejad recent visit to the country.
Ayatollah Boroujerdi, who has been incarcerated in Evin prison since 2006, has demanded that Mr. Nassrollah address four vital questions:

1. Is religious dictatorship more detrimental to faith in the Divine and his Prophet or the state of Israel?
2. Has the inhumane acts of injustice and violence perpetrated by the colonial Islamic regime of Iran caused more to turn away from God’s religion or the behaviour of the state of Israel?
3. Are you aware that the huge sums of money diverted from the Iranian nation’s coffers to you have caused untold misery and poverty for our honourable and kind -hearted people?
4. Would you accept Lebanon to become the base for the regime in Tehran which purports to represent ‘Political Islam’ in the world,  in return for injustice, oppression and discrimination in the name of the rule of the infallible thus crippling the state’s economy  and the nation’s livelihood in addition to increasing apostasy.
In the end I would like you to take note of these proverbs,
The corruption of clerics will lead to corruption on earth
“Though the regime can endure through blasphemy, ruthlessness will make it ephemeral and it shall thus disappear“
Those who are in need should not help the needy

Yours Sincerely,
Seyed Hossein Kazemeini Boroujerdi
