Kazemeini-Boroujerdi representative meeting with Dutch Foreign Ministry officials

Mr. Hossein Kazemeini-Boroujerdi’s spokesperson and representative, Maryam Moazenzadeh met with Ingeborg Stolte, the director of the Iran desk at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the month of March 2014. While explaining the Iranian regime’s continuing and ever-increasing human rights violations against political prisoners, Ms. Moazenzadeh provided Ms. Stolte with a complete dossier on Mr. Kazemeini-Boroujerdi’s condition, as well as information on the Boroujerdi family members and a large number of Mr. Boroujerdi’s supporters, most of whom have been imprisoned and tortured. Others who have not however, have been threatened, intimidated and terrorized by agents of the regime.
Ms. Stolte expressed her grave concern regarding the ongoing heinous acts of human and civil rights violations in Iran and vowed to discuss them with her Iranian regime counterparts during their upcoming meetings.
It is important to mention that Mr. Kazemeini-Boroujerdi has spent 2700 plus days, consecutively in prison and suffers from numerous physical illnesses and ailments, for which he has been refused treatment by the regime authorities. He has also been prohibited from having any independent legal representation. To that end, Mr. Boroujerdi’s supporters have launched the “Keep Kazemeini-Boroujerdi Alive” campaign which has received a great deal of backing and support from around the globe.
We would like to extend our gratitude to all those friends who have assisted us in promoting this campaign. A special thanks goes out to Mr. Darioush Majlessi who organized the meeting with Ms. Stolte and who continues to tirelessly work on behalf of the campaign.
