Serious Need of Mr. Boroujerdi to Visit Independent Doctor

Despite the pursuit of human rights organizations and individuals, Mr. Boroujerdi’s physical condition and health have been reported to be poor. This prisoner of conscience, who is spending the tenth year of his 11-year sentence in Evin's prison solely because of his peaceful views, is suffering from various diseases such as heart and respiratory diseases and also osteoporosis, because of being deprived of medical care and adequate food, and being under torture during his detention, and Still deprived of medical services.
Whereas, Amnesty International called on the Iranian regime in a statement on 25 September 2015 to reconsider the inhuman conditions of detention of prisoners immediately that is common in many Iranian prisons, and to provide medical treatment to prisoners in accordance with international human rights standards and to give medical leave to those prisoners who need special treatment. Mr. Boroujerdi has not yet been given the necessary medical treatment and even in February 2014, prison’s doctors have stated that this prisoner should be admitted in a hospital outside the prison [The regime has prevented it].
His family Contacted Special Clerical Court and objected regime’s decision that   prevented him to be transferred to the hospital for treatment, and asked at least to provide the heart medication to this prisoner who have been deprived of treatment, but officials refused medication and even have threatened them because of tracking his status. The Special Clerical Court officials claimed that medication and treatment for this prisoner, is subject to changing his positions against the supreme leader.
Mr. Boroujerdi's family demand an independent doctor to visit him and to do medical examination and treatment under the supervision of international organizations.
