The new
year has begun with a mountain of problems and though Norooz was filled with
joy and excitement, the freshness of spring was replaced by sky rocketing
prices and more pointless dead ends.

A Letter Addressed To UN Special Rapporteur Dr. Shaheed
April 22, 2014 at 7:32pm
Dear
Dr. Shaheed and Honorable World Leaders,
I
am composing this correspondence to you in order to once again draw your
attention to the plight of Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi.
Kazemeini
Boroujerdi is a democratic reformer whom has been subjected to soul –
shattering physical and psychological torture at the malevolent hands of the
Iranian regime.
He
was abducted from his residence by the regime’s security forces on the 8th
October 2006.
Members
of Mr. Boroujerdi’s family and close associates were mercilessly beaten during
the course of the raid.

Mr. Kazemeini-Boroujerdi cautions his family about visiting him
As a
part of the continued and ever increasing psychological pressures on Mr.
Hossein Kazemeini-Boroujerdi, on Saturday, April 12th when the
Kazemeini-Boroujerdi family appeared at Evin prison for a visit, agents of the
regime subjected them to harsh physical searches, and verbally abused and
insulted them.
Given
the ongoing abuse and vicious behavior, in an act of protest against the
regime’s agents, Mr. Boroujerdi announced that he will no longer put his family
through the indignity and that he will cease to visit with his family.

Kazemeini-Boroujerdi representative meeting with Dutch Foreign Ministry officials
Mr.
Hossein Kazemeini-Boroujerdi’s spokesperson and representative, Maryam
Moazenzadeh met with Ingeborg Stolte, the director of the Iran desk at the
Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the month of March 2014. While
explaining the Iranian regime’s continuing and ever-increasing human rights
violations against political prisoners, Ms. Moazenzadeh provided Ms. Stolte
with a complete dossier on Mr. Kazemeini-Boroujerdi’s condition, as well as
information on the Boroujerdi family members and a large number of Mr.
Boroujerdi’s supporters, most of whom have been imprisoned and tortured. Others
who have not however, have been threatened, intimidated and terrorized by
agents of the regime.

Deception of the Iranian regime against liberal, imprisoned cleric
Deception
of the Iranian regime’s Special Clerical Tribunal and the interrogators of the
Ministry of Intelligence and Surveillance against liberal, imprisoned cleric
Based on
received reports, on Monday, April 7th, 2014, Mr. Kazemeini-Boroujerdi was
transferred to the Evin prison infirmary, however nothing was done to actually
treat him. The entire situation was totally staged and filmed however. It
appears that this charade was organized as a response to the statement issued by
the United Nations Rapporteurs and Amnesty International, and other
international human rights bodies who had expressed serious concern for the
gravity of Mr. Kazemeini-Boroujerdi’s medical condition. The Special
Clerical Tribunal (which has been created in order to quash all clerics who
oppose the regime of the Supreme Leader) and the agents of the Ministry of
Intelligence and Surveillance are intent on deceiving everyone where the case
of Mr. Kazemeini-Boroujerdi is concerned.

freedom of expression, Frank La Rue, and on freedom of religion, Heiner

A letter from Barbara Lochbihler to Catherine Ashton about Iranian prisoners
High
Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs
and
Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission
Helga Schmid
Deputy
Secretary General for Political Affairs
European
External Action Service
Brussels,
4 March 2014
Dear
Catherine Ashton
Dear
Helga Schmid
First of
all, let me stress that I explicitly welcome your visit to Iran, scheduled for
the end of this week. With an interim deal on its nuclear programme in place,
Iran has taken an important step towards improving relations not only on the
nuclear dossier, but in general. Whatever the final result, this is an
important success of (inter alia) European diplomacy. At the same time and more
than ever before, keeping the momentum and continuing talks in an honest and
open manner will be paramount.

A letter from Kazemeini Boroujerdi to western deligation
Respected
Members of the Western Delegation,
I offer you my
sincerest greetings.
As a man of the
cloth, who has been a prisoner of this vicious regime, my greatest hope is of
course, progress in discussions that lead to peace, freedom and the liberation
of our country from the clutches of the anti-Iranian tyrants. I have spent the
last eight years imprisoned and in the most horrible physical and psychological
conditions; my family has also suffered unimaginably.

US Reports on Human Rights Practices for 2013
Country
Reports on Human Rights Practices for 2013- IRAN
Part
of this report about Mr. kazemini boroujerdi is given as follow: On December
19, an associate of dissident cleric and regime critic Ayatollah Hossein
Kazemeini Boroujerdi reported that Boroujerdi continued to suffer from poor
health and harsh prison conditions while being denied medical care. The
associate further reported that authorities subjected Boroujerdi to torture and
threatened his family to compel him to write a letter saying he did not wish to
meet with visiting European representatives. In October 2012 Boroujerdi was
allegedly poisoned by unnamed fellow prisoners, leaving him in critical
condition. Boroujerdi, who advocated the separation of religion and government,
was arrested in 2006.

During the last twenty years I have been continually persecuted by political Islamic rulers
Honorable distinguished lawyers and dear representatives
May the blessings of the merciful Lord be upon you.
May the blessings of the merciful Lord be upon you.
The experience that I have gained during these eight years, since I entered the world of politics, the biggest reason for the indecent mixing of religion with politics, which is the contamination of spirituality and blanching of truth. Of course everyone knows that this prisoner of conscience has never had a political career and has been a follower of Islam without the politics. The animus, publication and dissemination of traditional religion is contrary to the interests of religion intermingled with politics. During the last twenty years I have been continually assaulted, threatened and persecuted by political Islamic rulers and have been imprisoned in various prisons, secret ones or known ones, where the bully, hypocritical leaders have managed to waste my life. What has been handed down to the archive of my experiences is the truth laid out in a way that describes the years of politicking and political manipulation that has permeated the minds and culture of our society.
