On Sunday April 5th, in order to
humiliate Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi and further persecute and torment him, some
people from the Special Clerical Intelligence went into Mr. Kazemeini
Boroujerdi’s cell and shaved his beard by force.
This humiliating act, which was
accompanied by insult and threats, occurred during his period of
prohibition from correspondence and phone calls with his family and followers.
It is noteworthy that Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi has been banned from
phone calls to family and his followers for 7 months. Despite efforts by the UN
and Human Rights organizations, this prisoner of conscience has been deprived
of access to medicine and treatment in spite of having multiple illnesses, and
on the other hand, the Special Clerical Court and officials of Evin Prison are
not responsive to questions and enquiries by his family regarding Mr. Hossein
Kazemeni Boroujerdi’s condition.
